Now, we publish this commemorative edition of the lists to honor all those who have passed before us -- some whose stay was brief as we shared a short tour of duty, others whose contact endured a little longer as we renewed friendships along the way, and yet others whose departure is felt keenly as they PCS to their heavenly home. We salute all those who served with us then and those who serve now to protect our freedom and to preserve our union. We gladly stand ready to share our memories and our tributes with the spouses and children of those who left early. We entrust our legacy and our values to those who remain, as we rejoin our comrades. | ||||||||||

| This listing now has 3,001 entries; it includes names of veterans who served at all of the U.S. Air Force units based in Bremerhaven and the names of widows/family members of those veterans who have died. The "home" addresses shown in some entries were valid addresses at the time of service. Since the previous update, which was posted in February 2007, we have added 507 postal addresses for those who are newly-located and those who changed known addresses; we have removed 237 of the entries -- those who died and those who moved to new, unknown addresses. | ||||||||||
