(1962) - Ray took this picture when he first arrived in Germany. Little did he know that his
future wife, Ursel Dora Konig, lived here. Ursel was the sister-in-law of Dick Dumas,
(ex Mox-Nixer), who married Magrit Konig.

RAY TOMKINS -- Chosen by his teammates as the most valuable player
on the 1963 Bremerhaven Blue Devil Baseball Team, shows the form that gave him an earned run average of 1.62 on the mound. Ray also led the team in batting with a .328 average.
