I left the Air Force in 1966,
attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas and graduated with a
BA in 1969 (Major area-Russian Language-Minor area- German Language). I
went into the U.S. Army as an officer in 1969 and upon completion of
Airborne and Ranger training was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division.
Went to Germany, then Korea and returned to Ft. Bragg, NC where I was
assigned to the Special Warfare Center. I was promoted to Major in 1979
and retired in 1980 with 20 years of service (Air Force and Army).
